Aaron Cade I like to spend as much time as possible with my family. I’ve been married since 2005 to my best friend, Heidi. In 2008 my first little girl, Kinzie, was born. Then in 2010 a second little girl named Ryleigh joined our family.
Since 1998, I have been helping families and small to medium sized companies put together sound long-term financial plans. I specialize in two areas. The first area is 401k and 403b retirement plans and the second is helping individuals with rollovers from these plans. About half of my career was spent working in a bank setting. In 2011, I decided to open my own independent practice so that I would have more flexibility in offering my services to my clients as well as more control over my business.
In the 401k arena I've managed small start-up plans and plans that have nearly $30,000,000. My individual clients range from smaller education accounts that can be started with as little $25 per month to my larger clients who I help invest more than $2,000,000. I'm a small town, family guy with investment experience that spans over 24 years helping clients large and small.
Rod Engh I am a life-long resident of Westby and have worked in the Viroqua area for the majority of my career. I am married to Shelley and together we enjoy gardening and growing flowers, mostly sunflowers, on our small acreage between Westby and Coon Valley. We truly enjoy life in the country, the feeling of peace and quiet it brings, and of course the beautiful sunsets.
Shelley is a Kindergarten teacher in the Westby district. Together we have 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Spending time with all of them brings us our most joyful experiences. All are a treasure to us. In our free time we enjoy hiking in our beautiful local parks, snowshoeing and golfing. Our favorite pastime is spending time at our family lake home in Alexandria, Minnesota. We hop in the car and go whenever the opportunity presents itself. In my three years at Cade Financial I have learned so much about finance and retirement income planning from Aaron. I am truly blessed to have such a great mentor in the business. His knowledge, experience, patience and his positive outlook and great attitude have made my transition to the field so much easier than it could have been. For that I am grateful. Together we are a team whose first priority is to make our clients feel at ease no matter the situation and no matter how difficult the task of getting ahead financially might seem for them.
Amy Hardy I am the Administrative Assistant at Cade Financial Services. I truly love my work and I feel very fortunate to be able to work with Aaron, Rod and Travis! They all have genuine personalities and it is clear they always have our clients' best interest in mind.
I am a lifelong resident of rural Viroqua. My husband Lloyd and I live just outside of Viroqua on a small farm. We have three children, Shana, Allison and Dalton. Lloyd is the agriculture teacher at Viroqua High School. Our family also owns and operates a small greenhouse business.
Travis Gaskell I, too, am a lifelong resident of the area. I was born and raised in Westby - which is where I currently live with my toy poodle, Annie.
My career started as a teacher; I taught 4 years at the Kickapoo School District and a year and a half at the Westby Area School District. During my time at Kickapoo, I taught 2nd & 3rd grade. This is where I met Aaron and his wife, Heidi - I actually taught both of their girls. I also coached middle school boys basketball and assisted the Varsity boys basketball program. While teaching at Westby, I taught 5th grade math. I was also an assistant of the Varsity boys basketball program. Coaching has always been a passion of mine!
Currently, I am a financial assistant - testing to become a financial advisor. I observe meetings, take notes, and absorb as much knowledge as I can while working with Aaron, Rod and Amy. I feel blessed to have this opportunity to work with all of them!
